My teenage daughter is really hard on backpacks. Since her school went to clear backpacks at the beginning of the 2018-2019 school year, this is her 6th backpack (1st from this vendor). Normally she has at least 30+ pounds of books and papers in her backpack and the bags usually start to tear or split within the first month and are barely holding together by the time we replace them.This backpack has been a completely different experience so far. First of all, the plastic is *thick* but still very flexible. The stitches seem to be really secure and strong, and there’s a lot of room in the bag (she carries a 17” laptop in addition to her books and papers). I expect her to get at least a year out of this one. If the manufacturer made any mistakes, it’s that they made them too durable for repeat business! If/when this one needs to be replaced eventually, I’ll replace it with another of the same thing.Well worth the slightly higher price than many of the others!
