These were fine for what I needed them for.Bags were very thin and not true to the size stated. We found a use for these with our bread making machine. What happens here is we make too much and don't want to waste it, so we put the extra in these bags. The bags are sort of on the small side, and not much use for a full loaf of bread. They are thin, too. So if you can find a specific use for them as we have then they become worth while.Be aware they don't have twisty ties and they aren't rolled up or anything. It's a pretty basic sort of an item so you won't find real value for money here either. But we found a particular purpose for them, and if that matches what you need then you might find these useful.I got these hoping that I would finally have bags that would be long enough for my usual loaves. These aren't. They're the same length as the ones I'd been using - which happens to be the exact length of a loaf of decent-sized homemade bread - and, which means that I won't be able to get them closed until I use a couple of slices off of each loaf. I didn't know the exact length to get, and didn't realize this until I compared a bag to one of my other ones. The bags are quite thin, but I wouldn't dock that if it wasn't for the fact that they're thinner than the ones I get at a well-known discount outlet! However, with the quantity, the value is about the same. The price of these is far more realistic than what is often charged for bread bags. There's also no roll inside the box, and it's not a pop-up dispenser. They're just...in there. You have to be careful not to pull out several when you only want one. There are also no twist-ties included from what I can tell. Granted, I didn't take 1,000 bags out of a box to check the bottom! But I remember reading that there aren't any somewhere in the listing for these, too, so I'm sufficiently sure that there are none.Overall, I give 3 stars. They're decent, but there are better options. And not including twist-ties is just being too much of a cheapskate.Cheap cheap cheap. Did I mention cheap???These bags could have a wide range of uses, but they are not quite as advertised. When I measured them, they were 14 inches long, with an internal measurement closer to 13.5 inches because of the seam (see photos). They are absolutely nowhere near the 20 inches listed on the product page. That is not necessarily the end of the world, but since they are small to begin with, I consider that discrepancy to be very significant. The bags themselves are thin, but would work well for storage of snacks, sandwiches, produce, leftover, lining tiny trashcans, picking up garbage, etc...Basically, these are meant for short term storage of items that do not need to be super secure. You get a box of 1,000 bags, which comes out to <3ยข a bag, so they are an affordable bag to have on hand. The question is how you plant to use them because they aren't going to be large enough for most standard loaves of bread, but could have a lot of other uses. These are as thin as the produce bags at the grocery stores. Since it mentioned bread, I expected these to be thicker. They will work for produce, but do not plan to use much for breads as they are an incredibly thin plastic. The ones my daughter currently uses are much better for anything very heavy or for more than one use. These bags are good for smaller loafs or a few baked goods. They have held up great and no tears in the bags when using them.Merci
